I post the things I like and what ever
they may be will probably tell you more about
me than anything i can really write in this box.
All photos are taken by me unless i state otherwise.

In my 7 years of owning my MR2 i have gone through

5 different exhaust systems
2 After Market seats (now back to stock)
3 sets of wheels ( from 16s to 17s and now 18s)
2 motors (NA to Turbo)
2 body kits (Border Racing then Toyota Racing Development Widebodykit)
1 accident (in the canyons, wasn’t my fault. On coming truck was riding the middle lane)
Countless tickets and headaches but i will never let the police stop me from doing what I love.
Only 1 speeding ticket I received for going 60 on a 50. -___-

Anyway just thought i’d share real quick what a real car enthusiast is all about.. I’ve gone through a lot with my MR2. I’ve done a lot of good things and bad things. Made many smart and stupid decisions, not only with regards to my car, but with life as well. There were many times where I have almost sold or traded it for another because of so many things that has gone wrong. But i think a real car enthusiast never gives up on what they have. I see so many kids buying already fixed up cars then crashing it because they don’t really know it’s limit, capability, and potential. I believe when you build your own car from scratch, you’ll learn to appreciate it even more and will know when you can and can’t take that hard turn. It’s kinda like life. What makes a good person/car is: patience, persistence, love, integrity, moral values, spirituality, forgiving, humble, inner intelligent and HEART!

Love the post. my s14 (veronica) and I have been through a lot of the same experiences. selling her, or giving up on this lifestyle is never an option.

Wow i didn’t actually think this was gonna get more than 30 notes .. i’m surprised she went around pretty quick. Anyway, thank you all for the kind words. Bro, as long as there is still some passion for the car then it means it’s not time to give up! I think i’ll know when it’s time to give up..so i’m sure you’ll know when that time comes. As of right now, I just wanna build this MR2 and hope some day i can hand it down to my kid as my father once did for me. I’m gonna try hard to keep this car in the family =]

Whoa I like what this guy said it inspires me now not to rush into getting a car.

Aww I’m glad I am able to help and inspire some people :]

Good shit mike

Thanks Tom; lets hooka later!!! hahah

Marriage.

“When I got home that night as my wife served dinner, I held her hand and said, I’ve got something to tell you. She sat down and ate quietly. Again I observed the hurt in her eyes.

Suddenly I didn’t know how to open my mouth. But I had to let her know what I was thinking. I want a divorce. I raised the topic calmly. She didn’t seem to be annoyed by my words, instead she asked me softly, why?

No more buying parts for the MR2 until 2012!! Broke as a joke nao. Need to keep my pocket moneyyy.

into-the-universe:

“I think therefore I am.” - Rene Descartes
If a person thinks too much, does that mean he’s trying to prove his existence? Or is thinking more of an involuntary act? If thinking is an involuntary act, what does it say about our existence?

Got a dilemma… so I asked my boss for an advance because I need to pay for school and buy books. Now that I got my check..I can’t decide whether to save it for the NSX fund, put it on a down payment for a new car, or buy another Turbo Kit for the MR2 (this would be my 3rd turbo kit lol) I mean, the MR2 is already plenty fast, but damn… I kind of don’t mind shooting for that 400 horse power range..  Stupid books cost just as much as the kit itself, if not more .. Fuck I’m really tempted to pull the trigger on this. - -“ Decisions decisions…

Often times we tend to forget how precious the human life is. It can be difficult to give, and yet, so easy to take it away…

Ended up buying it this afternoon lol… stupid me… -___-” Oh well, 2012 should be a fun year.

Gigantic Radio Telescope to Search for First Stars, Galaxies & Extraterrestrial Intelligence

More than 20,000 radio antennas will soon connect over the Internet to scan largely unexplored radio frequencies, hunting for the first stars and galaxies and potentially signals of extraterrestrial intelligence.
The Low Frequency Array (LOFAR) will consist of banks of antennas in 48 stations in the Netherlands and elsewhere in Europe, all hooked up by fiber optic cables. Signals from these stations will be combined using a supercomputer, transforming the array into “perhaps the most complex and versatile radio telescope ever attempted,” said Heino Falcke, chairman of the board for the International LOFAR Telescope.
Currently 16,000 of LOFAR’s antennas and 41 of its stations are up, and the array will be completed by the middle of this year. All told, LOFAR will have a resolution equivalent to a telescope 620 miles (1,000 kilometers) in diameter. In addition, “it’s an expandable design — we can always come along later and add additional stations,” said Michael Wise at ASTRON, the Netherlands Institute for Radio Astronomy.
Since LOFAR is so large, it can scan large parts of the heavens — its first all-sky survey, which started Jan. 9, can sweep across “the entire northern sky twice in just 45 days,” said George Heald of ASTRON.

Over an hour long but that was a good watch. “College students now owe 950 billion dollars in student loans which is more than the entire credit card debt in this country.”
