My MR2 sitting pretty next to my buddy’s red TRD wide body MR2.
Since not a lot of people are familiar with the MR2s and their motors. Just thought i’d share some images of various 3SGTE Motors and their different type of turbo set up. These are images that i’ve accumulated over the years. The first pic is my old GReddy TD06 turbo kit with external wastegate setup, rerouted the dumptube back to the downpipe, MSD ignition components, ported turbo manifold and GReddy type intercooler.

Finally got the perfect “stance” on my MR2.
The right wheel specs + tire size + offset + camber and maybe add a little stretch and poke = Perfect Stance, in my opinion.
Now all i need is to decide what color to paint my car again.!

midnight purple. or paint the bottom black like a trueno…
Lol nah.. If i don’t go with some type of custom paint, then it’ll be another type of white, charcoal/gun metal metallic, or Satin Black..something along those lines..
Right before I broke the 200,000 mile mark on my MR2. I remember when I was 16, it barely had 142,xxx miles on it. Guess I average 10,000 miles a year on this car.
All TRD Wide Body Toyota MR2s. The first 4 are some of the MR2s of Southern California. The other 6 are located in Thailand. All TRD wide body MR2s in Thailand were customized a little differently to go with each owner’s personality. Anyway, enjoy!!
